MIGHTY MAID
An alias employed by Supergirl in January 1960 when she poses as a beautiful brown-haired super-heroine from the fourth dimension as part of an elaborate ruse, devised by Superman, to thwart a plan by extraterrestrial aliens to destroy the planet Earth, Superman’s adopted planet, in retaliation for a mistaken attack on a fleet of their spacecraft, long ago, by the army of Krypton, the far-distant planet where Superman was born (Act No. 260: “Mighty Maid!â€).
