A knowledgeable, zealous young man whose lifelong dream has been to become a G-man (short for Government Man, most often of high rank within the F.B.I.). Rejected by the F.B.I. (Federal Bureau of Investigation), however, because of his claustrophobia, acrophobia, and color blindness, Jones is ulitmately hired by the F.B.I. as a teacher of new recruits, thanks to the intervernetion of Superman.
