Eldric
A cruel, despotic feudal lord whose mighty castle and vast estate are part of a remote civilization—completely cut off from modern civilization by tall mountains and impassable cliffs—which has retained its medieval customs for more than a thousand years. Temporarily stranded in this isolated land in May 1956, Superman uses his short stay as an opportunity to force the power-hungry Eldric to emancipate his slaves and to abandon his ruthless scheme to establish an absolute despotism over the region (S No. 105/3: "Superman, Slave!").
