Jeff Carlton
An agent in the United States Anti-Espionage Service, and one of the secret leaders of a ring of spies and fifth columnists who frame Clark Kent for the murder of Frank Martin, Carlton’s Anti-Espionage Service superior. Superman smashes the spy ring in January-February 1941 and, as Clark Kent, clears himself of the murder charge by forcing a confession from Carlton at gunpoint (S No. 8/2). (TGSB)
