VALLIN (Dr.). A “brilliant scientist†turned criminal who concocts an elaborate scheme to annihilate Superman by “fusing†Gold, silver, Lead, and bismuth “with acid and crackling electricity†to produce a deadly sample of artificial Kryptonite. Vallin and his henchmen are apprehended by Superman in January-February 1952 (WF No. 56: “The Superman Pageant!â€).
